A private family foundation that is made up of the McCoy family. We strive as an organization to show our youth and others what is possible in the Winston Salem community and surrounding areas. We accomplish this through commercials on the radio that educate about Black history in Winston-Salem, or showing high school students their options for higher education, or providing a suit for a college student’s first interview. The mcHoward Initiative exists to create possibilities through our personal network of resources and our relationships we have with influential leaders.
